City, December 5, 2023 – The Cityville High Debate Club made headlines after winning the regional championship for the first time in five years. Competing against schools across the district, the team impressed judges with their well-researched arguments and persuasive speaking skills.

“This victory is a testament to our students’ dedication and hard work,” said debate coach Thomas Reed. The team plans to compete at the national level next spring, bringing pride to their school and community.
