City, November 2, 2023 – Cityville Middle School has launched a gardening program to teach students about sustainability and healthy eating. The program encourages students to grow vegetables and herbs, which are later used in the school cafeteria.

“Hands-on gardening teaches responsibility and environmental awareness,” said coordinator Emily Wu. Students are learning about composting, water conservation, and teamwork while cultivating a love for nature.
